Eunjoo Kim, Assistant to the Director

 

eunjoo-kimEunjoo Kim is currently a graduate student studying choral conducting performance at Youngstown State University. Originally from South Korea, Ms. Kim earned her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the Sookmyung Women’s University, Seoul, Korea and her Master of Music degree in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland, Ohio. While at the CIM, Ms. Kim studied piano with Dr. Daniel Shapiro and conducting with Mr. Carl Topilow and Mr. David Gilson. During her time in Cleveland, she served as worship service accompanist at the Korean Cleveland Presbyterian Church. Ms. Kim serves as director of music, directing the young adults’ choir at the Korean Cleveland Presbyterian Church. Currently Ms. Kim is studying choral conducting with Dr. Hae-Jong Lee at Youngstown State University and is a graduate assistant in the choral department working as the assistant to the director for the University Chorus and the Dana Chorale as well as the assistant to the director with Stambaugh Chorus at Stambaugh Auditorium.
