Rose Myers is originally from Marienville, Pennsylvania, a small
town near Cook Forest in Forest County. She got a B.S. degree in
English Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After
living in Warren, Cleveland, Crawfordsvile (Indiana), and Indianapolis,
she settled in Boardman in 1977.
She has worked at Ohio Edison for 30 years mostly in the
warehouse although she briefly tried her hand at meter reading, street
light repair, and being a lineman.
Rose and her husband, Dick, have a son and a daughter and two beautiful grandchildren.
Rose is an avid reader and enjoys gardening in the summer. She
has been a volunteer for Hospice and is a member of her church choir.
