Dr. Robin A. Lind

Dr. Robin A. Lind is an Associate Professor and the Director of Choral Activities at Westminster College, where she conducts the Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, and Men’s Chorus, and teaches private voice. She coordinates the Choral Music Education program, teaches Secondary Choral Methods, Choral Conducting and co-supervises student teachers.

Prior to her appointment at Westminster she taught at Western State College in Colorado, Salt Lake Community College, the University of Utah, and Lane Community College in Oregon. Choirs under Dr. Lind’s direction have toured Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria and the United States.  She is active as a guest clinician, conductor, and adjudicator. Dr. Lind is advisor to the Westminster College Pennsylvania Student Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association and co-faculty advisor to the Westminster College Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association.

Dr. Lind received her Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Utah, her Masters in Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Oregon, and her BA in Music Education from the College of Idaho. She is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the ACDA of Pennsylvania, the Music Educators National Conference, the Pennsylvania Music Education Association, and the National Association of Teachers of Singing.

 

Kris Harper


Kris Harper received his Bachelor of Music degree in sacred music from
Westminster College in 1981.  He received his Master of Music degree in
music education from the Dana School of Music, Younstown State University in
1995.  He is currently the Director of Music Ministries at Mary, Mother of
Hope Roman Catholic Church in New Castle, PA.

He is the director of the
fifty voice community chorus, Seraphim , based in Youngstown, Ohio.  He is a
member of the adjunct music faculty at Westminster College where he directs the
Women’s Chorus, Women’s Chamber Ensemble, teaches private voice and teaches
various academic classes as the needs arise.  He has currently been
accepted at Kent State University to begin work on his doctorate of music
education degree.

He is a member of the AGO (American Guild of Organists), NATS (National
Association of Teachers of Singing), ACDA, (American Choral Directors
Association), and NPM (National Association of Pastoral Musicians).
