Stambaugh Chorus is a non-profit organization consisting of men and women from Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Under the direction of Dr. Hae-Jong Lee, the Chorus brings love for choral music to this community. The mission of the Chorus is to promote and perform choral music, to enhance the cultural life of the citizens of this area and to give back to the Mahoning Valley. The Chorus does this through collaborating with other ensembles, as well as presenting their own concerts. The Chorus also donates their time to perform for organizations, reaching out to people in need and to those who are confined to long-term care facilities.

On Sunday May 17th, 2015, the Stambaugh Chorus is planning to perform selections from Franz Joseph Haydn’s “The Creation“, several operatic pieces, and a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the “Sound of Music. To perform Haydn’s “The Creation” will require a chamber orchestra and soloists. The cost is anticipated to be $4600.

Stambaugh Chorus is asking you to consider making a donation to help offset the cost of the concert so that classical choral performances can continue to be offered within the community.
